A SimAnt MMOG.
You start off as a single ant in one of the existing colonies, then as you level up you can recruit more and more computer-controlled ants into your posse (but can't steal ants that your teammates have already recruited). After a while (probably short, since people need diggers) you get to make changes to the nest - including filling in unused areas, something that was woefully lacking in the original.
As you advance in levels you become an increasingly powerful soldier ant (although you could still easily be swamped by a dozen lower-level workers at most if you're not careful!), before gaining the ability to exchange bodies (first with other workers/soldiers, then eventually the queen and even the spider or other large bugs that could serve as "vehicles" of sorts). At a high enough level you can spawn as a queen and start your own colony in a nearby area. (Of course, the colony has to have been doing reasonably well for some time...) Once founded, the founder has full ability to switch bodies, dig, etc., but all other stats are starting level again.
Founders of colonies (or any player that has founder-approved Queen status) could make alliances, and any ants from allied colonies will show up as black instead of the usual ZOMGHOSTILEKILLKILLKILL red. Which colony you're in is permanently tied to your account until you found your own, or your queen dies - in the latter case you'd be reassigned to a nearby colony at starting level.
The humans, of course, would be little more than random disastrous events, although the admins could set the frequency of their attacks or even stage some of their own.
And this game would have cute RO-esque graphics. Just because.
...and now if there were only some way to have the server send back stuff about thousands and thousands of ants without turning everything into ZOMGWTFBBQGHEYBEFELAAAAAAGGGGG!!!!111111488666...
